The Menomonee Falls Rotary Club Foundation was established in 1992 for the purpose of distributing monetary grants to area charitable organizations in support of their programs and operations. The Menomonee Falls Rotary Club Foundation is a Wisconsin not-for-profit corporation that qualifies as a 501C3 charity by the Internal Revenue Service.
The outline and goals of the Foundation’s annual grant program are determined pursuant to an annual budget developed by the Foundation Board. Emphasis is placed on requests from local charities that support and improve the quality of life in Menomonee Falls, and those that benefit children and education. No grants will be made to religious or political organizations. The Foundation occasionally focuses on large projects which require several year’s worth of effort and funding. Requests for grants should be mailed to:
Menomonee Falls Rotary Grant Foundation P.O. Box 71 Menomonee Falls, WI 53051
The Rotary Club Foundation meets quarterly to act on applications received. The Board reserves the right to reject any request or proposal for any reason or no reason.
The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees elected to serve a term of three years (or until his/her successor has been duly chosen at the next regular annual meeting of trustees). No trustee shall serve more than a period of two terms. The trustee terms are staggered to prevent complete turnover of the Board at any given time. The officers of the Board include a chairman, secretary, and treasurer.
